Our Internship and Business Analyst positions requires a high proficiency in deductive reasoning, analytical problem solving, and fluid application ofdata systems and processes. Candidates must possess intellectual curiosity to uncover non-obvious and unique problem-solving factors in creating recommendations. Training includes industry overview with case studies as well as self-directed project. With experience as well as repeated exposure to supervisor and team member's work, freedom is given so the intern will proactively contribute to the team. This training is intent on growing the intern and analyst into a leader that sets high standards of client-work that is thorough and timely. The ideal candidates have an acumen for business, are competitively driven to master details, and find the best solutions. They demonstrate curiosity and participation in deep interests outside of work.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Consumption data management including database queries, data cleaning, and reconciliation
  • Evaluation and recommendations of retail data to estimate promotional impact of price discounts, execution and impact to profit
  • Retail everyday pricing impacts by identifying elasticities, thresholds and the impact to volume and profit
  • Analyze retail product distribution data to address distribution voids, opportunities, and product velocity gaps
  • Create manufacturer and retail P&L scenarios for various retail executions or strategy changes around pricing, promotion, and distribution
  • Econometric modeling of retail variables such as price or competitive impacts with R
  • Monthly reporting and account planning assistance by adeptly utilizing database queries and updating gap analysis reports

INTERNSHIP: Analyst Intern

Location: Austin

Required Eductation: Bachelor's in STEM field, pursuing Master's Degree preferred.

Term: 3 - 5 month internships available

Required Travel: Little to no travel required.

FULL-TIME: Business Analyst

Location: Austin

Required Education: Graduate degree preferred in a STEM field; dual Bachelor's dgrees will be considered.

Travel: Light travel
